1) Ensuring extension services for all classes of farmers.

2) Bringing modern agricultural technologies to the doorsteps of farmers to increase crop production.

3) Ensure distribution of seeds and fertilizers among the farmers.

4) Field inspection as per visit schedule, identification and solution of farmer problems.

5) To increase soil health and productivity through balanced use of organic and chemical fertilizers.

6) To give advice on crop pest control.
7) To set up exhibitions and organize field days for the expansion of new crops, new varieties and new technologies in the farmer's field.
8) Provide training to farmers on various agricultural technologies.
9) To create awareness among the farmers through various extension methods.
10) To ensure distribution of agricultural inputs for government incentives / rehabilitation among small and marginal farmers.
11) To assist the farmers in producing and storing quality seeds of the crop.
12) Provide assistance to farmers on safe food items through the use of organic fertilizers and organic pesticides.
13) To help in establishing link between buyer and farmer in marketing of agricultural products.
14) To help reduce crop production costs through the use of agricultural machinery in government subsidies.
15) To help in diversification of crops and improvement of cropping pattern.
16) To increase the production of insufficient food grains (pulses, oil, spices) produced in the country.
17) To assist farmers in availing agricultural loans provided by banks.
18) Creating a database of farmers for decision making at the national level.
19) To help in the development of nutrition in the creation of vegetable and fruit gardens in the homestead and roof.
20) To provide digital services to farmers through mobile or telephone.

26) Issuance of license for import and marketing of agricultural inputs (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and seedlings).
27) To prevent sale of adulterated agricultural inputs by inspecting the shops of pesticides, fertilizers and seed dealers.
28) Integration of agricultural material with government and non-government organizations.
